These short course Units of Competency in Civil Construction provide a pathway for individuals working the building and construction industry to up skill and obtain nationally recognised machine tickets.

Course Duration

You are given up to 3 months to complete your short course. Levels of experience and any additional prior training may reduce this time frame.

Delivery Options

This course is offered to applicants working in the civil construction industry via the following methods across South-East Queensland:

Face to Face / Workplace training:

  • Face to Face training sessions
  • Log book completion for inexperienced operators
  • Onsite assessment
  • Regular Trainer/Assessor contact through phone calls, texts, workplace visits and email

Students are supported with:

  • Access to a dedicated Trainer/Assessor until the program is completed
  • Quality learning resources
  • Access to additional support through the course program department on 1300 852 852

Entry Requirements

Participants need to hold experience working in the construction industry and have access to a work site and applicable machinery

Participants are to supply their own suitable personal protective equipment.
